adaptation to climate change and social participation. Her research interests include
environmental economics, the institutional dimension of urban development, participatory
adaptation of cities to climate change, and equitable transformation.

revitalisation, cultural heritage and urban development. She cooperates with local
governments on strategic management, urban revitalisation and social participation.
Her research interests include revitalisation processes, the city’s economic base,

Economist and urban planner, associated with the local government in Lodz for
many years. She co-manages the Factory of Urban Activity and is in charge of Participatory
Budgeting in Lodz, among other things. A doctoral student in the Doctoral
School in the Social Sciences at the University of Lodz. Her research interests include
urban development, social activism, and sustainable development.

PhD in Sociology, Department of Social Research Methods and Techniques, Faculty
of Economics and Sociology, University of Lodz. He is the author of many research
publications on participation, urban sociology and urban studies and has been
a participant in nationwide and international scientific conferences. Kamil has participated
in and co-implemented (as a researcher, moderator, and facilitator) a great
number of scientific as well as participatory and social projects. He regularly engages
in participatory actions.

Associate professor at the University of Lodz, Department of UNESCO Chair on
Ecohydrology and Applied Ecology, Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection,
University of Lodz. For over 20 years, he has been conducting research on the impact
of ecohydrology and ecological biotechnology on improving water quality. He has
been involved in implementation work for the reclamation and protection of aquatic
ecosystems and the adaptation of cities to climate change. Tomasz has authored and
co-authored over 50 scientific publications in ecology and ecohydrology. He has also
coordinated and conducted more than 20 national and international research and
implementation projects.

Research Methods and Techniques at the Faculty of Economics and Sociology,
University of Lodz. Her research interests include deliberative techniques, public consultations,
and social research methodology. She conducts methodological research
on techniques of group decision-making and consensus-building. She has worked
on the implementation of participatory budgeting in the city of Lodz and designed
social consultations with the use of deliberative techniques in space planning, revitalisation,
culture, and science. Aneta co-authored the book ‘Methods and Techniques
of Public Consultations’ published by Lodz University Press in 2024.
